Tingzhou Confucian Temple

 

The Tingzhou Confucian Temple, also known as Confucian Temple and Tingzhou Fuxue, is a significant cultural heritage site in Fujian Province, China. Located at No. 20, Zhaozheng Road, in the heart of Changting County, it serves as an important center for Confucianism.

 

In its heyday, the Tingzhou Confucian Temple boasted an expansive architectural complex that encompassed much of the present-day Changting County Government Compound and the entire County People’s Congress office building. Although some structures have changed or disappeared over time, several key buildings remain intact and can still be explored today.
